The VS 3A07 - 4A08 VIDEO

Currently, you can get access to the video from your facebook profile.

For those of you who don't have facebook, I really recommend you get one! :)

I'm still working out a simple method to embed the video here on this blog, but it's really difficult. Need more time. But expect it soon!

In the meantime, those with facebook, enjoy the video! And remember to comment! :)

Let the memory of VS4A08 live on forever! :)

Congratulations on a successful outing!!! :D

Let the vs4ao8 spirit live on forever! :D

Thanks so much to the organisers and helpers and participants!!!

Namely..EVERYONE OF US!!!     [Note: This is NOT meant to be an exhaustive list, only certain random examples are included based on nothing but what comes to my mind at 2am on a Sunday morning so forgive me if I forget anything here]  For example, people like JOEL who got us the bungalow booking, erm... People who came early to Parkway on Friday to help buy BBQ stuff (Joel, Yi Wei, Reuben, Leon, Tarang, me) [And not forgetting Joel's parents!] , our treasurer Leon for managing the funds so well, Mr Chan for paying $22.40 for the Maxi cab ride from VS to Aloha Changi and booking the Chalet and staying with us overnight, Mdm Ernie and her husband for visiting us at 11pm and bringing snacks, and for lending us the PROJECTOR, WeiGuang for posting up the info on "how to get there" in this blog, ChangDa for being able to get the BBQ fire going so well, each and every one of the BBQ cooks who took turns to help out at the BBQ pit, Ze Wei for all the technical setting up and the successful conversion of the bedrooms into the XBOX/Projector/LAN gaming centre, ChangDa for organising the night walk to the unknown darkness by climbing up that hill in complete darkness and successfully leading the group to meet the unknown and return safely (aside from getting possessed but never mind) , Pin Che for his heartwarming song performance in the XBOX/Projector room to the whole class, and maybe me for the video I made? (haha ahhh!! no shame la.. :) ) ,everyone who turned up to make the event a success and every single individual one of you for just being there and contributing to the 4A spirit SOOOOOOOO WELL!!!

BTW, If I missed out your name it's probably because of my BADDDD memory and not because you didn't do anything at all to contribute to the intense fun, joy and happiness we had for the past two days!!

More photos and videos to be up soon!! [Ze Wei - please get those in your camera up too! Can't wait! :) ]

I'll try getting the 4A video posted here too soon... :) Do stay tuned! Might take a while as the file(s) are HUGE!! :)

Hope you guys have caught up on lost sleep... I guess most of us either didn't sleep or only slept for 1 or 2 hours last night. Except for some other lucky ones!! :)

I guess despite certain unfortunate incidences that happened, of which all of us know that none of us had any intention of portraying whatever we did as negative, our understanding teachers will understand. This is just another chance for all of us to learn from our mistakes.

Hope everyone had fun! :)

Thank you, 4A. :) Bye now and let's meet again some day..Some time..Somewhere.

To add on..

I know this is kind of late.. Sorry... But then, who will actually get to know this through this blog?

Well.. to add on to ChoonHian's previous post.. For those who actually care about cleanliness and hygiene, there is no need to bring soap or stuff like that. Reuben has kindly agreed to get a bottle tomorrow for the class to share.
So, pray that he would not forget and its actually enough for us

Ya.. and spread the message =.=

See you tomorrow!! Lets have fun and enjoy ourselves!!!

=)

Getting There

Hey guys, this was what I found on the aloha resorts website:

There are 3 Fairy Point Bungalows. These single-storey chalets are fully
furnished with

a living room set with TV and games table;

dining room;

air-conditioned bedrooms, furnished with beds, wardrobes, dressers,
bedside tables and wall fans;

toilets/bathrooms with shower heater;

BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

3 bedrooms,1 queen bed, 4 single beds, 1 bedroom with attached bathroom cum toilet, 2 common toilets.

The suitable group size for day use is 25 persons only. 6 persons only for
night use.

(Zz... 6person for night use? Nevermind la, we can squeeze together.. sleep together.. you guys wont mind right? Haha..)

Okay, lol. Here comes the more important part.

We can take bus 29 from Tampines MRT station.

Its a loop bus that goes from Tampines Interchange to Changi Village Terminal and back to Tampines Interchange again.

Alternatively, theres a shuttle bus service. But apparently, the service goes

from Pasir Ris MRT to aloha loyang;
from aloha loyang to Pasir Ris MRT;
from aloha loyang to aloha changi; and
from aloha changi to Pasir Ris MRT.

Dont have from Pasir Ris MRT to aloha changi o.0
(or maybe Im mistaken..)

Hmm.. from the results from SBS Bus Transit Online Journey Planner it seems that all the possible solutions ends up with taking bus 29.

Heres the map of aloha changi:

http://www.aloharesorts.com.sg/templates/maps/Changi.htm

It looks like nearest to Fairy Point Bungalow 2 is SIA Sports Club or Changi Beach Club Sports Complex

If you want to go by car:

If you're coming from the north,
take SLE/TPE, and exit to Loyang Ave (towards Changi Village). *

If you're coming from the west,
you can either take AYE/ECP or PIE to TPE/SLE, and exit to Loyang Ave (towards Changi Village). *

* Go along Loyang Ave (it's quite a long and windy route) and turn left into Cranwell Road. Chalets are located along Cranwell, Gosport, Andover, Leuchars, Catterick, Netheravon, Halton, Sealand and Biggin Hill Roads.

But then again, it seems that some checking in is needed so Im not too sure about it.

On the other hand, from what Ive heard, theres a meeting with Mdm Lyana after Bio Paper 1 . Please make your presence, maybe we would discuss all the problems down there.
(Ya.. maybe.. maybe.. Who knows what wonderful solutions we can come up with=.= Maybe it would end up as using the class fund for mass taxi tides there..)

[Hey.. Posting this nonsense doesnt mean Im one of the organisers ar.. Dont come and ask me stuff about the chalet, go bug joel instead.. I know nothing.. Just trying to search for ways to get there. ]

And also, all this information here are directly *koped* from internet and vomitted down here without the slightest attempt to at least edit it..
(Something we are all so familiar of.. Just recall the Bio and SS and Geog essays.. Agrh)

So.. yeah.. good luck for the upcoming Chem and Bio MCQs.. Dont make careless mistakes.. and pray that those people on the bellcurves make stupid mistakes =)

Haha.. For those with no Google Earth.... This is what you can see from Google Earth...

The yellow route is most likely the shortest way to get there from Pasir Ris MRT/Interchange.. only about 6km away!! :) Pasir Ris Drive 3 + Loyang Ave.

Haha. I know this pic is very helpful... But I don't know other stuff, like what buses go there.
